Over 70 million trips abroad are made from the UK every year. However, from a survey of over 1,000 travellers, only 41% of travellers sought advice before travelling. Of those who sought advice, most visited their GP Practice, however in areas of the UK only 9% of GP Practices offer a full travel health service. This means that the health of many travellers is potentially at risk.
