In 2009, he joined hands with Quavo and Takeoff to start a hip-hop group named, Polo Club. In 2010, they decided to change the name of the group to Migos.

In 2015, Offset along with his Migos band members and associates was arrested for possessing firearms and marijuana in Georgia State University campus.

In May 2015, he was slapped with additional charges for getting into a fight with another inmate while he was imprisoned for marijuana and firearm offense.

In December 2015, he accepted a plea deal from authorities, which led to the suspension of his prison sentence. Instead, he was handed hefty fine and banishment from five countries.

He had a very hard childhood as he grew up in a very violent neighborhood, which was known to be a key distribution hub for Mexican drug cartels.

In 2016, he was booked by traffic authorities for driving without a proper driving license.

The Canadian rapper Drake loved Migos’ single Versace so much that he called up the band to create its remix and included remix in his studio album.

Offset is pretty crazy about tattoos and has got a cross tattooed on his face. He has even got a tattoo of Eiffel Tower in memory of his dead friend as he felt it would be better than getting his name (Paris) inked on.
