BAKA is a nice cozy neighbourhood in Jerusalem. Derech Beit Lechem Street is the main road. There you find a few cafes, snack bars and grocery stores.
Decades ago, Baka was known to be a place for the poor and even criminals liked to settle there. Later, Baka has turned into the exact opposite and it has become expensive to live there.
Today's residents belong to the middle class who do have some money. People with a low income would not be able to afford living in Baka.
Unfortunately, the neighbourhood is getting more and more destroyed by huge luxury apartment complexes. Not only the one shown in the video but, not too far away, there is another gigantic new luxury building complex called "Bustan".
This is bad for Baka's character but reality shows, that investors only want to make profit.
